Jeff, do you recall anything about the 79 Limited Edition Musician? According to Jim Donahue there may only have been two made. Indeed we've only found two, both in the UK. The main difference is a large rotary six-position tone switch, instead of the 3-band eq. There are pics on the Vintage & custom electrics / 79 Musician LIMITED EDITION? thread

 Hi Jeff,
The other Musician owner here.  Had it from new and bought it in 1979 from a friends shop, in Leicester UK. At the time Ibanez was not one of the most common makes of the guitar, but after trying it, fell in love with it. I do have other guitars, but the Ibanez has stayed with me, even when I gave up playing for  about ten years. Any info would be great as I had none with it when I bought it and made my own case for it.
