Can anyone tell me what the finish is on a 2681 made in Sept. 1978?

The finish used on the Japanese Ibanezes from the early 70's onwards is Polyester..  Jim has mentioned before that it is the Gen Gen Brand of polyester used on all Ibanez Guitar (some were finished with a hand Rubbed Nitro but these are only on limited editions)
