Hi Jim and others,

Being new here, I initially posted this query in the acoustic section but it may be more correct to post here.

Is there any info on an Ibanez Classical/flamenco model GAF-25? I can't find anything on the 'net about it except to note that by the serial number its a 1983 made (830709).

It has a very fine grained top (cedar or spruce?), a flamenco style, clear plastic pickguard, light-coloured wood back and sides (cypress?), mahogany neck and a rosewood?/ebonised (stained black) fret-board.

It looks like someone has put a bit of effort into making it with a classical style neck/body join, nice timbers and finishing, and has signed the label...although I'm buggered if I can read the scrawl.

Any info gratefully appreciated and if anyone has an idea of value (US$ is fine), I'd appreciate that as well as I'm not too sure whether its too nice to let the kids fang it or let it go to someone who'll be appreciate it.

For a 25 year old geetar she's in purty good condition except for a small ding on the top and a wearing off of the black stain in certain fret positions. Unfortunately I don't have access to a digi-cam at the mo' to post photos but I'd be happy to answer any questions. Cheers.
