I own both colors of the BL1025 (97/models), and have owned a BL850 in the past. I love them, but really wish Ibanez had made a maple necked version of one of them. My question is, can a maple neck off of an older blazer be easily made to fit ? I know they did an offset neck screw pattern on the 850 and 1025, and shaped the flat place on the back of the neck to match, as opposed to the standard symmetrical 4 screw rectangular area. I don't mind filling and drilling new holes. I'm more concerned about general pocket fit and the scale being right when it's all done. Anyone tried it or thought about it ?

Thanks much.
