I reaaly don't know this model off the top of my head, it seems to be a J custom that was not available in the States. Can you send me more details on it and also a serial number.

Hi Jim thanx for the time, OK here is what I think of this model, the serial# is F0039342 (MIJ)
I purchased this guitar in Italy around Christmas 2000, this was for sale before the XL series( yes it is a Baritone) and seems to be a little more expensive to make than the XL series, first the paintjob looks like has buubles in it, matching headstock, binding all around the body, neck, headstock in white/glow in the dark, dots in glow in the dark as well for the rest is pretty much the same as an XL but my idea is that might be a pre run for the XL to test the market.
You can see pictures of a couple of them on Ibanezregirster.com
I think it was an only Europen market model.

This was made in 2000 39342 is a vaery early number for the year. This model was not available in the US but I believe it was an LA custom shop design, They also did recomend the baritone scale because some artists were looking for these.

These guitars are made in Lots of 24, So there was a minumum of 24 made, maybe 48. I would go with one of those two numbers, i will check around for more info.
