Japanese-English Translator Needed

I have a few Japanese magazine advertisements I would like translated.

I'd hate to impose on anyone.

The problem is that the advertisements are image files so I can't just copy the Japanese text out of the image and paste it into a translator engine like Babelfish.

If I don't find someone here I can find someone at work or locally.

I'm in the DC area so translators aren't an issue.

pete, it may NOT be an imposition, he may be happy to help you.
I dunno.
You may be able to e-mail the entire file or scan and e-mail the document, whichever format it's in.
I don't think it would hurt to ask him as long as you are gracious and don't come across in an untoward manner.

The problem is that I can't use these language translator programs.

What I have are some guitar advertisements from a Japanese language music magazine.

They have been scanned into .jpg files so, as images, I can't simply copy/paste the text out of the images and into the translator program.

So, I need someone who can look at the image files and then read and translate the Japanese text into English for me.

I have a few leads at work.
