Ebay Item Number # 220271876990

It's only got this one pic, but I noticed it has a familiar looking case. Check out those 6 knobs, and that crazy tremolo arm. And the MC-like pups with the 3 adjust screws. I've never seen anything quite like this one. It's got a wild combination of MC and Artist traits and a strange handful of it's own quirks. Trippy Undecided

I really like this one. It's a predecessor to the "GO" series from Greco. And, because it was made at FujiGen, it shares many of the same characteristics of the Musicians (and Artist 2700, for that matter). Wow. SIX suregrip 1 knobs!!!

If the price were lower, I'd be after it. But at $1,200+ (and shipping from Japan, I believe) it's a little out of my range.

COOL - good spot on the pics Chuck!

Yea - it really reminded me of a 2700 with a NT finish. It's a '79 build so it's pretty easy to spot the similarities to the Ibbys of the era. I'd love to hear how this thing sounds - you suppose that pup switch is a 5 way?

EDIT - 6 position switch. Next time I should read the whole thing eh? I have a feeling that's a typo on the shipping from Japan - $23? Probably missing a "1" in front.

Six positions? Maybe:

1. Bridge
2. Bridge/Middle combo
3. Middle
4. Middle/Neck combo
5. Neck
6. All three

Huh

You know, with the middle single-coil pup, this is closer to the Bob Weir modification than any Ibbie before the "Cowboy" was released in the '90s.

Very cool (and pricey).
1979 Fujijen Blond on Blond....    Smiley

I'd love to hear this guitar. It probably has the tonal characteristics of something like an MC400.

Very cool!

I can say that those HB's are awesome in that guitar.  They're the same as the ones in my Roland G-303, which was a Greco GO with the synth section added.  Actually the G-808 is the same thing as a Greco GO.

Great underrated guitars...but you guys know all about underrated guitars on this forum Wink.
