A mostly Fujigen assortment of strats and teles. I'm at a loss to decide which one gets to go to the jam tonight. Strats, left to right, include a 1973-ish Ibanez 2375, a 1981 Greco SE-450, and a 1985 Fernandes LE-1. Teles include my circa-1987 Fernandes TE-2 and my latest addition (the only non-Fujigen) no-name Tele.

I'd shoot with the Le-1...its summer, and a great time to make white part of your dress ensemble! Grin Either that or take out the new tele for a test spin, gotta break her in eventually! Wink

Unfortunately, the new tele needs work on its output jack (something's not quite grounded correctly). And to my horrors, when I got the white Fernandes strat out (it was once my main guitar in the 1980s) I found that the neck is a bit off kilter. The sixth string hangs a bit off the neck right at the top. I'm going to have to have a tech look at it.

So I decided to go with the Greco strat. I haven't gigged that one yet, and it's playing really well. Plus, the '52-style tele got to play last night.

So, the winner:

I like that butterscotch tele. If it plays as nice as it looks, its a daisy. You cant go wrong playing the Greco. I love my old spacy sounds, even though it needs a new nut and a little adjustment. Not such hot news about the fernandes strat. Maybe a little adjustment and you'll be good. For those about to rock, we salute you! Wink

I just got back from the jam. It was up in Stanwood, about forty-five minutes away from my house, but worth the drive. It's held at the "Stanwood Hotel" which is just a bar, and is run by a fellow named Steve Raible. The Greco strat acquitted itself well and I did my best to hold my own.
