I bought a pair of pickups a few years ago that supposedly came from a Rocket Roll.
From what I understand some early Rocket Rolls had Super 70s while some later Rocket Rolls had a V2 in the bridge and a Super 58 in the neck.
The pickups I bought do not have Ibanez's 3 mounting screws but the typical 2.
There is no model number on the pickups but on the neck pickup there is the number 820317 and on the bridge pickup there is the number 820320.
Can anyone help me identify these pickups?

They could be precursors to the Super 70, I don't know what they were called.

Okay further to this.
I was reading that the serial number for the pickups that the first number referred to the pickup type. So what pickup would be type 8?

I'm pretty sure Super 70s always started with a 1 or a 2.  What kind of Rocket Roll?  A '58 or '67 replica, or a later design (with regular Ibanez headstock)?
