To get a Jazz sound from my am205 I use the neck pickup with the tone control cut back a little. Add a bit of reverb from your amp and you are set.

Please try an amp made for acoustic guitars.  I have a am205 and the humbuckers overpower lots of amps.  they get muddy.

fender acoustasonic ebay $350  or
marshall as50       ebay $200

I agree with lizardking about using the acoustic amp. I run my 205 through a Fishman Loudbox and it's great.

I know this is an old post, but what the heck...
I use a roland JC120, treble 4, mid 6, bass 4, reverb 5. Seems to work for me with my hollow bodies. (Depending on the guitar, I usually roll off the tone on the guitar some as well.)

An AM series... that's next on my list  Wink

Checked out your amp. Don't know much about it but it sure looks like a nice one.
I've played my acoustic through combo amps and they work fine. Can't say enough about the AM series. If you come across one you like grab it.

Sorry,

I've owned this one since it was about a year old. When I die I'm leaving all my gear to my daughter except maybe the 205. I figure it's small enough to fit in the coffin with me. Keep looking though, I'm sure you'll find one somewhere.
