I can't find my link to the Ibanez catalogs download site to check it out. But I can't see how a Musician bass would be a bolt on.

Well, there are two other MC980's pictured in the Bass topic here, and neither of them looks like the one I just posted. So, a fake? A Studio model?

Yes, definitely a studio, and not a bad price either. I own an MC980. They are amazing.
