Hello all. I'm going to sell my bass and would like some advice about a few things, hopefully you guys can help me out.

From my research I know the bass is a 4-string left-handed Ibanez model EXB404L, serial number C314119. It was made in Korea (Cort), in 1993. From the Sept 93 catalog on ibanez rules, the original list price was about $500.

It should still be in excellent condition, it’s practically brand new. I got it new for x-mas back then and only took a few months worth of lessons before moving away. I never picked it back up unfortunately, and its pretty much sat in my old room ever since (10+ years). It looks like the top string may have been replaced, and there’s a little Graffix sticker on it.

Naturally I want to get as much for it as I can, but I don't know much about it other than what I found above. Here are some things I'm looking for-

First, the obvious- How much is it worth? I'd like some approximate value so I'll know a fair price to ask for it, and/or give me an idea of what to look for (or hope to get) at auction. I’ve only found a few similar ones available or that have sold in the $200-250 range, but not too sure of their condition. I’m also wondering how much (if at all) it being left-handed affects its value, as its more rare, but then so are left-handed players.

Is there any other pertinent info about this particular model I should know, or that someone else might want to know? What are the most important specs/details I should definitely include in an online listing, and where are the best places to find such information.

I'd also like to hear your opinions on the best way to go about selling it. I know I could just roll the dice on ebay, but I dont want to give it away, or have to deal with much of a hassle. From your experiences, would I be better off listing it on different boards like this, where I can find collectors and more knowledgeable people, or is ebay pretty much the standard for selling used instruments? Maybe do both?

Also, I have a Crate BX-25 amp to go with it, that I’m not sure what to do with. It’s on craigslist locally, but no takers so far. Would packaging it with the bass be worth it on ebay? Or is the much larger shipping cost for the combo likely to stunt the bidding? What the value range is for the amp by itself? It is also in excellent cond

Well now, lol, if you’re still reading thank you. I realize that any answers or values you give are all relative and variable, and that my mileage may vary quite a bit. I’m just trying to gather as much info as I can, so any and all input is greatly appreciated!!! Thanks again.

here's a bucket with more photos-
