Ibanez Sound Gear SR1205FL

You may want to check '95, '96 etc for more info. You can look at the catalogs at ibanezrules.com. I had a SR1206 for a while. I'm mainly interested in what the finger board is made of. It has a few scratches from round wound strings and I don't want to damage it if it is some sort of synthetic. On the SR1205, I can't say anymore than Funkle has. According to the catalog page on ibanezrules: http://www.ibanezrules.com/catalogs/us/1994/94038.jpg it would be a rosewood fingerboard. I doubt that a fretless version of the SR1205 would have a different fretboard material. I had a really good luthier set my bass up for me and he was able to identify the fingerboard as ebony. I had suspected as much but I wasn't possitive.
